Our Story.
The Hair & Beauty Retreat Tring has grown from humble beginnings into a welcoming destination for hair, beauty and wellbeing.
Our journey began in 2012, when The Beauty Beautique first opened its doors in Berkhamsted. Starting within a hair salon, the business quickly grew through word of mouth, building a loyal clientele and a reputation founded on a passion for beauty and a commitment to client care.
With over 24 years of experience in the beauty industry behind our foundations, we have continued to evolve, embracing new treatments, techniques and opportunities to grow.
In 2020, we took an exciting step forward, relocating to our own dedicated premises in Tring. During an incredibly challenging time for the industry, we transformed the space through a full refurbishment, creating the salon environment we had always envisioned — welcoming, professional and designed to make every visit feel special.
As the business developed, so did our vision. We continued to expand our treatments, invest in our surroundings and grow our team, welcoming both experienced beauty professionals and apprentices who are developing their skills and building their futures within the industry.
Our latest chapter marks another exciting milestone: the introduction of The Hair Retreat, our dedicated hair salon downstairs. This expansion brings hair and beauty together under one roof, allowing us to offer clients more choice and create a complete salon experience in one welcoming location.
Today, The Hair & Beauty Retreat represents everything our journey has taught us — the importance of experience, the value of continued learning and the difference that genuine care can make.
